The visual aesthetic of Daft Punk has had just as much of an effect on their popularity as their groundbreaking music. Daft fan wolf_boy2027 put together a visual timeline regarding the evolution of the Daft Punk helmet as worn by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. The group has been highly visible over the last few months thanks to their inclusion in this season’s TRON: Legacy movie. Via: Hypebeast.

TRON: Legacy Premiere – A Light Session.
Undoubtedly one of 2010’s most anticipated films, Disney’s TRON: Legacy finally hit cinemas earlier today. This video was created by Andrew Dorn from scenes captured at the premiere and is accompanied by music from Galapagoose. The event saw Will Hine, Harley Powell, Alexi Dowley and Jay Huggins skate up and down a small half pipe that was fitted with interactive lighting software, keeping in theme with the technologically advanced motion picture. Enjoy!

TRON x Playboy Photoshoot.
The pre-TRON developments take to the sultry road with a photoshoot involving Playboy.
As the movie’s instantly recognizable and preferred mode of transportation, the light cycle
makes for an important prop as several scantily clad women pose seductively on the bike.
A further not-safe-for-work look is available for paying customers over at Playboy.
